HESKETH HOUSE NEWSLETTER 15 DECEMBER 2022

A note from the Head… Our term was rounded off very nicely today with a visit from The Panto Company, who gave a wonderful performance of Sleeping Beauty in the Theatre. Thank you to our Parents’ Association who pay for this lovely treat – it is much appreciated by us all!

Hesketh House Christmas Concert Tuesday 6 December The video of the Christmas Concert can be found on the school website and is also available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFILjYGSt G8 Assembly Performances Friday 9 December Thank you very much to our String Orchestra who played beautifully for us in assembly last week – well done girls, we really enjoyed listening to you!

This has been an incredibly busy term, thank you very much for all of your support with our various activities and events. I hope that you are able to take time for rest and relaxation during the break and enjoy spending some quality family time together. We look forward to seeing the girls back full of energy once again, on Thursday 5 January. Very best wishes to all our Hesketh House families for the festive season! Mrs C Laverick Severe Weather Arrangements The Severe Weather Arrangements were emailed to parents recently, a copy can be found here. The key points are that information will be posted on the front page of the school website (www.boltonschool.org), usually by 7.00am, and we would be grateful if parents would use the website as the first port of call. You will also be sent an email, and news often first appears on School Twitter Accounts such as @Philip_Britton, @sfboltonschool, @BSPDJnrGirls.

We were also treated to a lovely performance from ‘old’ Junior School girls Rhea and Anoushka, who are now in Year 11. They both started playing the violin when they were in Hesketh House and are amazing musicians – we were all so impressed! Finally, thank you to Annie Done-Jackson who finished our assembly off with a couple of Christmas themed pieces on the saxophone.
