A note from the Head…

What a wonderful week we have had to finish off the year! The Sumer Concert on Wednesday was a real highlight for us all. The girls had worked so hard on their songs, poems, narration and dance and really enjoyed performing for an audience of family and friends. We hope that you enjoyed it too!

We also had reason to celebrate this week as we were told that we have been awarded the Eco Schools Green Flag Award, with Distinction

Congratulations to Mrs Bass and her EcoCommittee! In addition, we were delighted to hear that Hesketh House has been short-listed in the Independent Schools of the Year 2023 Awards. We will hear in September whether we have made it to the finals.

This is our last Newsletter of the term and therefore I would take this opportunity to thank you for your support throughout the year. Whether it has been attending concerts, listening to reading, helping to learn spellings and tables, assisting with homework or simply making sure that the right equipment is brought to School on the right day, it has all been much appreciated and it does make a difference!

Finally, I would like to wish all of our Year 6 girls the very best of luck as they move on to the next stage of their educational journey. Hopefully we have given them a firm foundation upon which to build a successful future.

I wish you all a relaxing summer break!

Mrs C Laverick

This is a very useful event and I would urge all parents to attend if they possibly can.
