Bomo Art Budapest Behind the Bomo Art Budapest brand there is an enthusiastic group of professionals, who every single day works for the shared goal: bind man and book together and rouse man’s innate instinct to create. Furthermore the aim of Bomo Art Team is also to bring joy into the life of future Bomo product owners by manufacturing beautiful, sophisticated, fine quality Bomo Art products. Bomo Art Budapest has been serving stationery and leather enthusiasts since 1997. At first it only sold diaries, wrapping papers, postcards and photo albums. Since then you can find recipe books, telephone registers in various sizes, a wider choice of diaries and praxinoscopes in its growing repertoire. Due to the fine quality cow leathers and the watermarked paper, the range of Bomo Art products has become much more exclusive. The name, Bomo Art Budapest indicates not only the shop but some of Budapest’s touristic sights and most beautiful buildings appear on its stationery as well. You can discover the Opera House or the Gresham Palace for example, but there are some designs showing the map of the most beautiful parts of Budapest as it was at the end of the 19th century. The motives featuring old posters, postcards, musical notes or famous Hungarian artists recall the halcyon days of the turn of the century.

Let us introduce you one of our favourite visual toys; the Praxinoscope. Its structure of mirrors and classic film slides enchant children and grown-ups alike. If you turn the wheel with the appropriate speed, the film strips of 12 individual pictures will turn into a short animated film.

This fascinating machine was invented by the French pioneer of cinematography, Emil Reynaud, in 1877. Although the technical aspect of movie making has soared high since then, people still admire the praxinoscope regardless of age.

Shipping Your order - depending on stock and the ordered quantity - will usually be delivered within 4 weeks calculated from the receipt of the order. Please note though that between September 1st and December 31st Bomo Art Budapest Kft. operates with a longer production lead-time; orders are completed in 5 weeks in this case. In case of an order that exceeds €3000 in value we cannot guarantee the 4 or 5 weeks completion lead-time. In this case the delivery date will be determined individually. Bomo Art Budapest Kft. ships orders by international freight companies. The amount of freight depends on the weight, the size of the parcels and distance of the destination. Guarantee Purchased products can only be exchanged if they are proved to be faulty. In case of receiving damaged pack, make sure to photo document damaged packaging as well, as damaged items. Concerning refunds, please see the Refund policy section for further information. Refund policy In case you cancel an order after the date of receipt of the order by us, you shall pay 20 % of the value of the ordered products against an invoice sent by us to you. In case the pro forma invoice was already issued by us you shall be refund with 80 % of the value of the ordered products.
