GRAN ALACANT WALKING FOOTBALL
Everyone is delighted with the news, in last month’s edition of this magazine, regarding the 8-a-side football pitch and we hope to be playing on it before the end of the year.

Our next lunchtime get-together for members and partners will be in the Dick Turpin Bar, Sierra Mar on Tuesday 7th February at 1pm. Anyone interested in finding out more about our playing sessions is welcome to join us.
On 11th January we restarted our weekly Wednesday sessions at 11am at the Indoor Sports Centre on Av. D’Escandinavia, 78.
It was good to see several new members coming along to enjoy the Walking Football and also the drinks in Tommy’s Bar afterwards, where we sang Happy Birthday to celebrate Jim Roberts 70th birthday.
Those members who are also in the Elche CF Supporters Group are continuing to attend all the local matches and we can only hope for some better performances and results this year.
