Sleep Now, Sam SAM:
A cosy, familiar setting for the little ones and their parents. It is time for bed. Sam has to go to sleep. But first comes teeth brushing and nappy changing. Then Dad will read a story. But Sam doesn’t want to lie still in bed. It is so much fun turning the light on and off, jumping on the mattress, and playing with the oven and tea set. Eventually Dad has to tell Sam NO! but also p romises that they are both going to sleep. When Sam’s eyes finally shut, however, Dad takes his chance and sneaks out to take care of the “dinner mess”. But then it is Sam’s turn to tiptoe into the kitchen and tell Dad who is “up and about” to go to bed. Sofia Rådström’s wonderful rhyming stories and illustrations have been well received by critics and readers alike. Series name Sam • Original title Sov nu, Sickan • Author & illustrator Sofia Rådström • Format 170 x 170 mm, 32 pages, colour • Rights sold series Danish
Whose Bed? WHO?:
It is bedtime for Spark, Nip and little Floof. Everyone has to sleep, but where? Here, there and everywhere, as it turns out. Sleep well, everyone! But then big sister Spark gets peckish, Nip feels lonely and little Floof’s nappy has leaked. And where will the big blue Cat sleep? He doesn’t even have space in his own bed… Once again Stina Wirsén writes about big feelings. She captures both the comic and the more difficult aspects of the situation in a masterly way, both in her text and illustrations. The book is aimed at the very young – it looks simple, but with great finesse and accuracy Stina Wirsén finds those small nuances which make the book a powerful adventure!
Series name Who? • Original title Vems säng? • Author & Illustrator Stina Wirsén • Format 210 x 210 mm, 32 pages, colour • Rights sold series Arabic, Chinese (simpl.), Danish, Dari, German, Korean, Persian, Polish, Somali, Tigrinya
Ut f lykt i skogen!

Kurran and Pigan in Deep Water KURRAN AND PIGAN:
It is scorching hot in Kurran and Pigan’s forest. The stream has dried up and all the plants have wilted. And it feels like forever since it rained! Eventually the two friends set off for the big lake in search of water. A totally new life awaits them there, and Kurran even learns to swim! But one day something terrible happens and Kurran has to do something she has never dared do before. She has to swim out into deep water to rescue her friend… Kurran and Pigan in Deep Water is a heart-warming picture book full of fairy tale adventures, summer warmth and multiple layers by Lisa Moroni. It is a story about friendship, courage and new discoveries, with enchanting illustrations inviting you to dive right in. A delightful read for young and old alike about the importance of water and learning how to swim!
The Troll is Me
Lisa Moroni
On her way to nursery a little girl is suddenly transformed into a big troll. And just like that, the former child scares away her parents, gobbles up her nursery friends and goes to live in the forest. There she can do whatever she wants, like running around naked and squealing like a pig in the forest. But sometimes she remembers her old life, when she used to ride a bike, eat sweets and play with Lego. One day a wizard comes along and asks if the troll wants to be a little girl again. Well, does she? Author Jenny Bergman collaborates with artist and animator Lotta Geffenblad to produce this thought-provoking text with beautiful watercolours. With humour and a touch of sadness too, this story is about what it is like to be little but also very big at the same time.

The Jungle Monster HEROES OF THE EARTH:
A terrible beast is disturbing the peace of the jungle. How can the Heroes of the Earth stop the monster from harming animals and the environment? They are going to need smart brains, superpowers and a splash of luck. The Heroes of the Earth are a bunch of friends with superpowers who are all experts in dealing with villains. Join us for an action-packed, laugh-out-loud adventure in the third book about superheroes who save the earth and its inhabitants over and over again. Peter Bergting has created his very own picture book universe for young and old alike, where elements of classic comic books and TV series meet intricate watercolour pictures and capti vating storytelling. The Heroes of the Earth series is for everyone who enjoys Spider-Man, Shimmer & Shine or Lego. Prassel prassel. Knak!

Puck Plays Football PUCK:
Today there is a football match. Puck and Mum are cheering for Puck’s cousins. It looks like fun – Puck wants to play football too! At home in the garden, Mum shows how to play football. But why won’t the ball go where Puck wants it to go? Puck practises and practises: pushing the ball, walking with the ball, running with the ball, passing the ball and shooting – goooaaal! It’s almost like magic! Puck thinks playing football is the most fun thing ever. And if more people play, you don’t have to run as much. Anyone who wants to can join in! Anna-Karin Garhamn’s series about Puck is a set of funny and charming picture books about both the big and small adventures of everyday life.
A Pack of Your Own A lonely dachshund dreams of a friend. But how can such a little dog make friends? Every time the dachshund goes to the exercise yard in the park where the other dogs hang out, it feels odd some how. The dachshund doesn’t fit in and even finds it hard to be around the other dogs. But all the others look as if they are having fun together. With warm and clever humour, Maria Nilsson Thore has created a wonderful allegory about friendship in a dog’s world. With exquisitely sweet illustrations, readers are invited to dive into their imagination and to ask themselves questions about friendship, such as: how much should one adapt in order to be accepted and valued by others? And do we really need to be similar in order to be friends? Can a dachshund and a poodle be friends despite their differences? Original title En egen flock • Author & illustrator Maria Nilsson Thore • Format 170 x 240 mm, 48 pages, colour • Rights sold German
Sonja and the Hat Split A beautiful and thought-provoking story about divorce and finding your place in a new f amily constellation. Sonja alternates living with Mummy one week and Daddy the next. Both places are nice but in different ways. When autumn comes, Daddy brings out a hand-knitted stripy hat for Sonja so that she won’t get cold. But when it’s Mummy’s turn to collect her, she doesn’t like it and buys her a new hat – with a bobble on. Every week throughout the autumn Sonja doesn’t just swap houses but also hats. Daddy’s week becomes “stripy hat week” and Mummy’s week “bobble hat week”. But one day Sonja has had enough! Måns Gahrton and Johan Unenge let the main character, S onja, tell her version of what it’s like to live with divorced parents, with empathy and warmth. Johan Unenge’s beautiful water colours paint an everyday life where there is both happiness and sorrow.

Help! I Have to Find Mia
The Ghost Telephone
HELP!:
THE MYSTERIOUS SCHOOL:
Some relatives from Chile are coming to visit. Mia, who is supposed to be “the same age” as the protagonist, turns out to be several years younger. Plus, she only speaks Spanish. What are they supposed to do together? Finally, some friends from school join in and they end up going to the shopping centre where their music teacher is shooting a music video. But so much happens at the shoot that they lose track of time – and suddenly they realise that Mia has disappeared! What are they going to do now? And Mia doesn’t even have a cell phone on her… The Help! series has become hugely popular, building on creating situations that children can easily identify with. Friends and school are very important topics in these easy-to-read stories and things often happen in ways that cause a dilemma. With few words that leave a lot of room for illustrations, Jo Salmson leads the reader through the mild peril of an everyday drama.
Greta loves her mysterious school. It was built over a hundred years ago. Back then the old telephone in the library was new, but now it doesn’t work anymore. Or is perhaps what Sally says true, that only ghosts can call it? Come along to the school where breathy whispers, quiet foot steps and eerie laughters echo in the corridors. It’s the ghosts! They are hiding all over, but not everyone can see them… The Ghost Telephone is the eleventh standalone book in Katarina Genar and Alexander Jansson’s spine-tingling The Mysterious School series. The books are easy to read and just the right level of scary for new readers. Series name Help! • Original title Hjälp! Jag måste hitta Mia • Author Jo Salmson • Illustrator Veronica Isaksson • Format 148 x 210 mm, 64 pages, colour • Rights sold series Arabic, Danish, Norwegian

After a rainstorm destroys most of the village, nearly all the inhabitants come back. But instead of helping each other and restoring what is left of the village, everybody argues and tries to grab as much as they can for themselves. Then an unexpected solution appears – a real treasure map! People immediately start scheming ways to keep the treasure for themselves. Alba, Elias and Yanko the goat have to find the treasure first so that the riches can be shared equally and all the villagers can become friends again. But will they find it in time? This book is the standalone follow-up to The World’s Bravest, yet another exciting adventure about timid Alba, her lazy goat Yanko and their friends. The World’s Richest also asks important questions about solidarity, friendship and the things that truly matter in life.

And when someone cuts off Molly the horse’s tail one night, anger and fear spread through out the stable. Who would do something so mean? Dance with Sigge is the nineteenth part of the Sigge series and features Elina and her friends at the cosy stable in Broby. And Sigge of course, the cutest little Shetland pony Elina has ever seen. To Be or Not To Be Friends EVE & ADAM:
Will Eve and Adam get together, or are they destined to be just friends forever? Eve and Adam are drawn to each other like magnets, their whole bodies tingle when their eyes meet or their hands touch. But an unwanted rabbit and a disappointed best friend make it all impossible – and besides, they have decided to be just friends! The funniest couple of all! The series has been a steady best- seller for the past twenty years. Eve and Adam have featured in films, on TV, and in computer games. The books are illustrated throughout with Johan Unenge’s well-aimed, relatable and humor ous images. To Be or Not To Be Friends is the fourth book in this new series about Eve and Adam.

ATHENA:

Elin Ek’s Athena is a good friend who, with bags of confidence and a can-do attitude, tries to change the world for the better, leaving the reader with the feeling that nothing is impossible. Athena is starting 7b. On the first day of school Athena feels happy and excited in class, just like on Christmas Eve! Starting middle school is already pretty great, but two more awesome things are happening in Athena’s life: she is turning 12, and Yousef is becoming more than just a friend… This autumn, the Save the Earth Gang face their greatest challenge yet: how can they get 1.6 million old people in Sweden to stop loafing around in their retirement homes and become climate activists? The SEG is shocked to find their pensioner friends at Raisin Gardens are forced to sit around watching dumb TV with only three channels in a stuffy common room! No wonder they seem apathetic – their lives are super boring! Lucky that Athena is named after the Greek goddess of war and wisdom, because this is going to take brilliant ideas and a fighting spirit!
THE LAND BEYOND:
Alba lives with her uncle Odd in the little town of Värend. She makes friends with Idun who lives on Björk Farm, and learns from her Aunt Siri about plants and animals, as well as natural medicine, runes and ancient formulae. Then bizarre things start to happen on the farm: the animals behave strangely, a little figure zips around, and in the earth cellar there is a stone with a strange symbol. When Björk Farm turns out to be a portal to another world, Alba makes up her mind to uncover the truth. In the Land Beyond, populated by fairies, gnomes and Vikings, a war for power is raging between the Wizard King and the rebelling magic tribes. Alba’s knowledge of rune magic and combat are put to the test as she has to learn to navigate her new surroundings. But who can she really trust?

MORRIS MOHLIN:
KING POW:
Meet Morris – a teenage boy with a knack for messing things up. Author Maria Frensborg and illustrator Kalle Landgren’s new series is a perfect read for anyone who loves Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Brutal humour at its best! The Spring Party at Brownfields School is coming up soon and Morris is kept busy by the school’s entertainment committee. Things get difficult when he ends up in the same group as the school’s worst nightmare, Kringlan. All this stress, combined with his unrequited love for Mirre, leads Morris to making more bad decisions than usual. Like arranging a date in the school car park between the sweet but sad evening class teacher and the needlework lady. Or making copies of his butt using the school photocopier…
Since the beginning of time, there have always been criminals but equally, there have always been those who have fought crime and stood up for justice. Twelve-year-old Sam has trained to become one of the world’s strongest and most skilled agents. Joined by King Pow champion Ju and computer genius Aisha, he forms Division 33 to foil the world’s evil forces. What’s more, there are many forces to fight as the villains seem to be everywhere among us… In Threat from Outer Space, humanity is threatened by an asteroid on its way to Earth! Sam, Ju and Aisha are watching a live transmission from the moon on TV, where technology genius Mr No-No has a weapon that could easily smash the asteroid into smithereens. Mr No-No is a hero. Isn’t he? A video clip suddenly turns up suggesting Mr No-No might want to be more than just a hero. And the weapon is now directed straight at Earth. Our heroes have to go to the moon to stop Mr No-No! But this is no easy task when Athena, Mr No-No’s super-strong killing machine of a sister, is standing i n their way.

Guy is digging in his Lego box. He needs to find the right pieces to finish the house he is making before bedtime. If only he had a digging machine, he could work faster. He wonders how much space there is in a digger. Guy’s mum knows – she has driven all sorts of vehicles. Shehas even worked as a digging machine operator and knows all about how they work. In Guy and the Digging Machine, Johan Anderblad mixes facts and story just like in the previous Guy books – a series about large vehicles for small children. Together with Filippa Widlund’s wonderfully detailed and realistic illustrations, this i s magic for tiny fans of big vehicles in picture book form!

MARY CELESTE

Den 7 november 1872 lämnar segelfartyget Mary Celeste hamnen i New York.
