The Fox and the Mole –A Ghost Story
How different can two friends be? Get whisked away by the magic of an unlikely friendship in this enchanting picture book with a gothic atmosphere.
“All the way out on a headland, tucked between the heath and the sea, stood a solitary little house...” began the fox.
“Ugh, how scary,” said the mole.
“But I’ve barely started reading,” said the fox. “And try not to chew so loudly, would you?”
Brace yourself for a tale of grudges, near-sightedness, and a disastrous encounter with some marmalade. Yet this delightfully spooky picture book is also a story of how our own quirks can cause trouble for both us and others – and how reading a book together makes everything better.
Join the fox and the mole for an adventure on a windswept heathland in Cecilia Heikkilä’s whimsical story and beautiful illustrations. As an illustrator and picture book author who grew in the north of Sweden, Heikkilä is known for exploring big questions in an unpretentious and child-friendly way, always with a love for animals and nature.

Addi’s Afro
Addi’s grandpa is a master at knitting hats! Every winter, he knits a whole bunch of new ones in every colour and shape you can imagine. But Addi already has at least a hundred and, besides, he HATES wearing them! “They itch and ruin my hair!” Addi screams, running hatless out the door with his snow racer.
On his way to go sledging, Addi meets lots of animals – a fox, an owl, a beaver, an ermine, and a moose. They all ask why he isn’t wearing a hat like the other kids. Over and over again, Addi has to explain that his ears don’t get cold as his hair keeps them warm. But that’s when the animals jump straight into his hair! It’s crowded and chaotic as they all try to fit, and soon Addi is fed up. He shakes off the freeloaders, sending them tumbling into the snow. When the whole heap of them howl that they are cold, Addi has a brilliant idea. Maybe Grandpa’s knitted hats could save the day after all?

Lugo and Lill: Wishing for Snow
LUGO & LILL:
Lugo and Lill are best friends. Lugo is big, and Lill is small – one of them loves adventure, and the other prefers cosy days at home.
On a rainy and gloomy winter’s day, Lill discovers a beautiful glass ball in the attic. Inside is a snowy winter landscape. “It must be a wishing ball,” says Lugo – and Lill gets to make a wish.
Lugo is right. The next day, snow is falling around their house. Everything is magical! Lill wants to go sledging, build a snowman, and do all the wintry things, but the day doesn’t turn out as Lill has planned. A tumble with the sledge leads to cold, wet paws ... Luckily, these two friends know how to turn the day around.
An atmospheric and heart-warming picture book, and the second in the series about Lugo and Lill and their friendship. Poetically narrated by Anna Lundgren, and richly illustrated by Maya Jönsson in watercolours that bring snowy landscapes and detailed interiors to life.

Guy and the Tow Truck
GUY:
It’s bedtime, and Guy is hiding from Mum in the wardrobe. But oh dear, Guy gets tangled up in all the clothes – he’s stuck! Now, a tow truck would come in handy. “Have you ever driven a tow truck, Mum?” asks Guy. And yes, she certainly has. Mum knows everything about different tow trucks and what they are used for.
In Guy and the Tow Truck, Johan Anderblad blends fact with fiction – just like in the other books about Guy. Together with Filippa Widlund’s wonderfully detailed illustrations, it makes for true picture book magic for tiny fans of big vehicles!
The Guy series also includes books about fire engines, police cars, trains, tractors, ambulances, excavators, subways, garbage trucks, and concrete mixers.
How Is Dim Feeling?
DIM:
In Dim and Lummer’s forest, the air is warm and humid and filled with sounds of badgers scratching, squirrel chatter, and buzzing bugs. But how is Dim feeling? He doesn’t seem happy at all. It’s difficult to think in the heat, and the bugs are bothering him. Not even little Lummer can comfort him, and Dim hisses at his friend to leave him alone. Dim leaves Lummer behind and sets off in search of a place where he can find peace and quiet. But everywhere he goes, he hears the same buzzing and rustling. Are there no tranquil thinking spots where poor Dim can catch his breath?
A tale about needing a calm place for one’s thoughts – and the importance of sharing them with someone. How Is Dim Feeling? is the sequel to the much beloved Who Sees Dim? In it Maria Nilsson Thore once again brings us picture book magic as she brings to life the tiny world of Dim and Lummer deep in the forest with her evocative watercolours.

XO, Polly Storm
“Every life has a beginning and an end. Yours began three days ago. I thought Grandma’s idea of writing a book was a good one. So, this story is for you – if you promise not to die.”
On Christmas Eve, 11-year-old (soon to be 12) Polly Storm becomes a big sister, but the presents under the tree will have to wait as her little brother has to stay at the hospital. Polly gets to move in with Grandma for a while. None of the fun things they usually do make any difference now. The wait turns Polly’s anxious thoughts into a tangled mess.
“Why don’t you write a book!” says Grandma – a book for her little brother. For there are things that Polly’s baby brother needs to know about life at No. 3 Broom Hill. Lots of things, big and small. So while Grandma lights a cigar on the balcony, Polly writes to her little brother about Edwin and the party where everything went wrong, about Isabella in her class, about the disco at the ice rink, and about text messages that never arrive.
With warm-hearted curiosity and subtle humour, Anna Ehring takes us into the world of eleven-year-old Polly during a few snowcold days in December when life is upended, and Christmas is put on hold.
Ehring is known for her unique ability to portray the extra ordi nary drama of everyday life. With books like The Dragonheart series about Nisse Berg in Bagarmossen, Mira and Martin, and the books about Herring (illustrated by Moa Graaf), she has won the hearts of readers and critics alike, establishing herself as one of our foremost authors of relationship dramas for young readers. Ehring has also illustrated the book, while the photographs of “Polly” were taken by Trixie Edlund Falkenborg.

Making History: Inventors and Scientists
Bring history to life! The Making History book series invites you on an exciting and fun journey through the ages. On the way, we make stops during different periods of European history. We meet inventors, rulers, and thinkers – some well-known and others forgotten. Read about great inventions, ideas, and people who have shaped our world.
In the first book, Making History: Inventors and Scientists, we learn things like: who was the first monarch to sit on a flush toilet? How do you breach a city wall that has kept the enemy out for a thousand years, or build the biggest dome the world has ever seen? And what exactly did Galileo Galilei see in his telescope that so enraged the Pope and his men?
Get to know some of the most innovative inventors and scientists of the Renaissance! With knowledge and curiosity, the cartoon ist, writer, and psychologist Frida Malmgren sketches portraits of seven of the most famous madcaps of the period. Their great inventions have forever shaped history, and their exciting lives provide insight into the important ideas and events of the time. A richly illustrated, fact-filled, and fun guide to the Renaissance!
