The Spy of Our Discontent
by Igor Berg
Two different persons, each living in different countries and at different ends of the earth, thought equally. Both wanted peace but not at the price of freedom. Their fates converged by strange means, and the fate of one was inexorably dependent upon that of the behavior of the other. One of these two individuals is buried with honor in Arlington Cemetery in the capital of the United States, and the location of the other’s remains is unknown. There are rumors that he was actually burned alive. Nobody knows for sure. The servants of hell keep their secrets. This book is about him: Col. Oleg Vladimirovich Penkovsky.
