Take a nostalgic ride on two Victorian-style locomotives. “Puffy,” the 1896 steam locomotive, is the oldest continuously operating steam engine in the south; “Vinny” is a 1953 GP-7 diesel locomotive. The Cotton Belt Route Excursion, a round trip between downtown Grapevine and the Fort Worth stockyards, runs Nov. 1,7,14,21. The 21-mile trip rolls at a leisurely pace and is perfect for the entire family.
