BSPC People . . . who’s in-house? Each issue we get to know a BSPC professional from one of BSPC’s member firms and this week we are speaking to - Dee Elliot from Bannerman Burke Tell us about your role within Bannerman Burke Properties? I am Property Manager at Bannerman Burke Properties. Myself and my colleague Susan McConnell run it together and make a good team. We both handle all aspects of the selling process, from providing realistic market values to photographing properties and creating the sales particulars and getting properties on the market. Thankfully it’s very busy at the moment so we are kept on our toes!

How long have you worked with the firm? 8 Years

What do you enjoy most about your job? Meeting new people. Over the years I have met many wonderful people and that keeps things interesting. Being Irish people tell me I have the ‘gift of the gab’ and I enjoy the interaction with the public! I work with a great bunch of people too.

What keeps you busy when you’re not at the office? Swimming at the local leisure centre and running after my 4 year old!

Where’s your favourite place in the Borders?

What’s your greatest achievement? Having my daughter.

Name two things you can’t live without? Family and Wine!

What’s your favourite Borders eatery? The Denholm Meet. Fantastic food.

Wilton Lodge Park, Hawick - beautiful to walk around and stunning in all weather.

Who is your favourite author/ artist or designer?

Tell us about your home or dream home?

Really enjoying the author Lianne Moriarty at the moment. The Husbands Secret is a great read.

Love my house. I live in the upper part of a Georgian style house which was formerly part of an old Hotel in Hawick. It has lots of character and lovely views. Great neighbours too!

What would be your ideal holiday?

What natural talent would you like to have?

To return to the Cayman Islands with my daughter to where I first met my husband.

Would love to be able to sing and play the piano.
