BSPC People . . . who’s in-house? Each issue we get to know a BSPC professional from one of BSPC’s member firms and this week we are speaking to - Tracy Ross from Cullen Kilshaw Tell us about your role within Cullen Kilshaw? I am a registered Paralegal qualified to deal with the full range of property and executry work, and I am currently heading up our new branch office in Kelso which recently opened in August 2014. How long have you worked with the firm? I joined the firm in 1999 so nearly 16 years!
What do you enjoy most about your job? Each day brings a new challenge as each transaction is different from the one before. I like the variety of the job and I enjoy assisting clients. What keeps you busy when you’re not at the office? I enjoy walking and recently completed the West Highland Way - all 96 miles of it. I am keen on Zumba, enjoy eating out and visiting new places.
What’s your greatest achievement? A couple of years ago I cycled around the Western Isles on a tandem. 330 miles from Barra to Stornoway, Ullapool to Oban. Name two things you can’t live without? Good friends and chocolate. What’s your favourite Borders eatery? Too many to mention.
Where’s your favourite place in the Borders? The Borders is a lovely place to live and there are so many places that I have fun in, enjoy visiting and areas I like to walk. Tell us about your home or dream home? A house in the country with a porch so that I could sit outside in the rain and enjoy a stunning view. What would be your ideal holiday? On a day like today, anywhere with plenty of sunshine !
Who is your favourite author/ artist or designer? James Patterson - I love a good thriller. What’s playing in your car right now? Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2. Love it.
What natural talent would you like to have? I would love to be able to ballroom dance.
