Interview: Thea Caine

INTERVIEW WITH THEA CAINE Hi,I’m Thea! I’m eight years old and live near Newcastle, in north east England. I absolutely love animals. My favourite subjects at school are English and art as I love writing stories and being creative. A typical day: I have breakfast then get ready for school. My dad walks me to school, 10 minutes from home, and my teacher Miss Alsop welcomes me and my friends. Each morning we study literacy and maths. After lunch is a mix of art, science, singing, French or PE. After school, I walk my dog, Dax. I do my homework then play on my computer with friends before dinner. After dinner, I like to watch a film or go on a bike ride with my family. At bedtime, I cuddle my cats, Hiccup and Goose, and read stories with my mum, then go to sleep. My favourite mammals are tigers. I love all types of cats but the tiger’s size, strength and beautiful pattern are incredible. Flamingos are my favourite feathery friends. I love their bright colour.
