A range of Ultra Light carp fishing rods with truly innovative design features. The concept behind the C.O.M rods, was to produce a rod suitable for the smaller waters and for medium sized carp. Not everyone has time for long sessions and throughout Europe there are thousands of small lakes, rivers and canals holding good stocks of medium sized carp.

Europe is crossed by big rivers all over, and more and more carp anglers are focusing on this type of environment that can offer true challenges with undiscovered waters containing big and wild carp. Here at Prologic, we have vast experience with this specific style of carp fishing as many of us have been fishing in big European rivers for more than 10 years now, and because of that we’ve been able to develop a range of rods that can deal with any kind of situation. Furthermore, they are the best river fishing carp rods available on the market, featuring unique details that will be immediately appreciated by all the specimen carp anglers. The action is perfect to fight strong fish at medium short range, as is usually the case in river fishing and to cast heavy leads.

Because of these two factors, we have thought about carp fishing in an entirely different way. So we have designed a series of rods which will allow the carp angler to use the perfect tool for this style of fishing. So, for the first time we have developed a range of Ultra Light carp fishing rods with truly innovative design features. Each model incorporates a different handle length and blank action to perfectly suit every situation. During field testing, it proved amazing to discover so many new carp waters that had been overlooked because of the size of the water or the size of the carp being considered irrelevant. In practice several double figure carp were caught including some 20’s and believe us, it was an amazing experience.

It combines a stainless steel spring loaded spread block, which makes it possible to put the mesh arm connectors in parallel positions - and then thanks to the reinforced Quick Release connection you can put in place the net head in a blink of an eye. How to use the Total Safe Clip

NEW FOAM AND ZIG KIT After a carp has hooked itself it will run off pulling the swivel out of the clip and the leader through the clip. This requires a heavy lead (3oz or more)

This is the safety part... If the main line is broken the fish will pull the line out of the lead clip. (The picture clearly shows why the main line has to be tied on a soft leader like Phyton or Supercharged: clips, snaps or sviwels are simply too big to slide through the clip.

What is digital camouflage and what are the advantages over conventional camouflage? Traditional camouflage uses large life-like object patterns that are very clearly defined and have sharp outlines. The technical term for these kinds of patterns is “macro-patterns”. Although these color patches represent parts of the surroundings, their clearly defined edges make them easier to see and they make the shape of the individual or object that needs to be camouflaged visible. The 3D effect As opposed to the conventional camouflage that uses a two dimensional flat representation of the natural surroundings, our new developed Mimicry 3D pattern uses a multi-layer print design that simulates natural 3D depth. Thanks to a carefully designed structure that took a long time to develop and test, the Mimicry 3D patterns successfully misleads to observer by making it hard to identify the objects distance and even its size! This principle has been borrowed from the “Dazzle Camouflage” technique that has been used as long as 100 years ago in the military to make warships look further away and different in size than they actually were. The Dazzle camouflage technique itself was based on the pattern that can be found on Zebras.
