Autism Awareness Month

Boston Higashi School has partnered with Corebox Training this trimester so that our Older High School division has a new place to go for their Physical Education lessons. Corebox has an amazing training facility full of equipment that allows our students to try new exercises and to explore the local Randolph community. After several weeks of students training hard, it was time for the friends and family to try their hand doing the exercises. Matt Harkins, Higashi P.E teacher, helped organize a fundraiser event for Autism Awareness Month. With all the excitement going around, the Higashi & Corebox partnership was featured on NECN and Fox25 News channels!

Principal Deb Donovan was invited to the United Nations Forum on National Autism Awareness Day. To make the trip even more special, she was greeted by an alumni parent and writer, Amy Goehner.
