BLO’S ARTIST CLASSROOM VISIT
Introduce your students to opera through our Artist Classroom Visit. BLO brings two professional singers, a pianist, and a teaching artist to present a live, interactive performance that demonstrates how opera tells stories through music. In this 45-minute presentation, students will be introduced to opera vocabulary, different voice types, characters, and musical motifs, while participating in simple movements and singing. Available during the month of February and ideal for grades 2-12. Included in the Create Your Own Opera Partnership Program.
