Y o u r S i g h t s ” Vision influence Sale.
MR CCF Vision was born October 15, 2012. He was bred by Dwight Cooper of C&C Farms in Jefferson, Georgia and marketed by Hartman Cattle Co. We were fortunate enough to purchase the Canadian and International rights on the great Simmental herd sire Vision in the fall of 2013, and sold the first Canadian Qualified Vision semen in the spring of 2014. Vision was used heavily the first year by many Canadian Simmental breeders. He was chosen in many breeding programs for his exceptional foot, sound structure, thick square hip and clean attractive front end. The first Vision calves hit the ground in 2015 and were very well accepted and widely sought after in the show and sale ring. The Vision progeny when crossed with Canadian genetics was an absolute home run for many producers. The calves exhibited a very stout and square hip, good foot and were very soft middled, smooth shouldered, nice fronted with exceptional growth and hair coat. After the first calf crop hit the ground Vision became an extremely diversified herd sire that could be used heavily in both the heifer and cow pen on many different types of Simmental cattle, as well as other breeds for highly sought after half-blood calves. Vision sired calves became the high sellers at many Simmental sales. In 2015 bred heifers bred to Vision in Bouchard Livestock managed sales commanded a $5,500.00 premium when compared to heifers bred to any other sire, as well as Vision sired calves commanded a $5,300 premium when compared to calves sired by every other bull. Vision also gained a lot of popularity south of the border when 12 heifer calves in the 2015 Hartman female sale averaged over $17,000.00. Vision then did it once again for Hartman Cattle Co. in their 2016 bull sale when Vision sired WAGR Catalyst 225C sold for $260,000.00. The semen sales on Vision then took another climb in the spring of 2017 when the Vision females had their first calves. The Vision cows held their shape extremely well and still maintained that feminine front end that we all loved so much. They dropped extremely tidy and tight udders that were very square through their quarters with small and correct teats. The Vision sired females have passed all the great traits that we love so much about Vision himself down to their calves, starting cow families across the Simmental breed that will be elite for generations to come. The “Set Your Sights” Vision Influence Sale will be the first time that a sale has offered only Vision influenced cattle in its entirety. All cattle in the sale are either direct or grand progeny or are carrying a Vision Service. There are two yearling bulls out of Vision himself that are truly great in their own right. Both bulls offer a lot of great things to the purebred Simmental industry. There are three Vision sired proven donor females in the sale that you can buy with confidence. The guess work is done and the calves off them speak for themselves, buy these cows and put them directly into your donor pen at home. There are bred heifers that are Vision decedents as well as heifers purposely mated to Vision to create more of those sought after, sale topping progeny. The heifer calves on offer are the kind that you can put a halter on and drag up and down the show road. You can then breed them how you see fit and put them into your replacement pen at home. There is also select embryo mating’s as well as semen on offer. Vision has truly developed into one of the greatest herd sires in the entire Cattle industry so please bid and buy with confidence. Perspective is the result of a very successful flush completed in the winter of 2015, after his full sibling, MRK Priority 3C, was such a success. After being selected as Reserve Junior Bull Calf at Canadian Western Agribiton, Priority was sold out of the stall for $30,000.00 to Labatte Simmentals and Oberle Bros. Perspective was the only bull born among his flush mates. His full sibling sister fetched $14,250.00 last fall as a calf at Shades of The Prairies where she sold to Dana and Megan Johns and Ray and Barb Airey. This black baldy has been a pen favourite since day one. She’s long as a rope, deep sided and pretty made. She carries herself well, and always has that “look at me” look to her. Her mother has a flawless udder for a first calver, and we think that this mix with Vision has really made a home-run in our eyes. We feel that Foxy is going to go out and do it all for her new owner, from front runner in the pasture to looking great on the end of the show halter, we think that this heifer could do it.

Fast Lane is probably going to be the “red sheep” of the sale. This heifer is super attractive made through her front end, and has a pretty skull. Fast Lane moves like a cat hitting her stride. Her mother is a cow we purchased from Heggie Simmentals, who has outdone herself with her first calf. Fast Lane is stout hipped and based, but is super complete in her structure. Thunderstruck is an own son of Broker whom we sold through our bull sale and utilized in our herd and we are really pleased with the progeny he produced. These females are already showing their worth coming off producing their first calves and have bright futures. The Jewel cow family has been a strong producing line for us and brings a bit different twist to the already predictable pedigrees of Broker and Vision. Terms & Conditions
The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable at par at sale location unless satisfactory credit arrangements have been made prior to the sale. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. Bouchard Livestock Ltd reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Should the purchaser fail to settle for his purchase, Bouchard Livestock Ltd reserves full power to resell the animal to the best advantage, either publicly or privately, without further notice. Any loss arising from such resale, together with keep and all other expenses shall be payable by the defaulter. All settlements must be made with the clerks of the sale before any cattle will be released. The owners, Bouchard Livestock Ltd. and sale staff have the right to refuse bids from anyone who has a previous record of default in payment and/or who has not made prior credit arrangements prior to the sale with the owners and/or Sale Management. BID Every animal consigned to the sale must be sold by auction. No bybidding will be permitted. Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. DISPUTES In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision in such matters will be final. PURCHASER’S RISK Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. GUARANTEE All animals will carry standard breeding guarantee as specified by the applicable Canadian breed Association. At no time shall the seller’s liability exceed the purchased price of the animal. EXCEPTION TO GUARANTEE In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void. In the cases of bulls, they are guaranteed to breed naturally according to applicable Canadian breed Association guarantee, but no guarantee is given that semen from any bull will freeze. HEALTH It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Bouchard Livestock Ltd assumes no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale. ACCIDENTS Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the Sale Management, auctioneer, or Association assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property.
