Keynote – Peter Radford Peter Radford is a seasoned speaker, educator, trainer and author with extensive leadership, management, and personal growth expertise. He partners with businesses, organisations, and schools to craft strategies for change and goal achievement. His book, Love Teaching Keep Teaching, delves into fostering culture shifts within schools and organisations. He was honoured as the Motivational Wellbeing Speaker of the Year 2022 by the Innovation and Excellence Awards.

Workshop A – choose from the following: UCAS update –Presented by Ross Sanger, Digital Learning Developer at UCAS Join UCAS to understand recent updates and upcoming changes relevant for teachers and advisers. This session will cover multiple UCAS services including their newly launched outreach connection service and centralised apprenticeship application plans. Student Finance update – Presented by Charmaine Valente, Account Manager at the Student Loans Company Join Charmaine as she draws on her 15+ years of experience working with the Student Loans Company and gain essential insights to assist students, parents, and carers with their finance applications, ensuring a smoother transition to higher education. JP Morgan – Apprenticeships – Presented by Amy Cully, Emerging Talent Specialist Find out more about their sought-after apprenticeship scheme, arm yourself with the skills to support your students through the application process, and meet with current apprentices as they share their personal experiences.

Keynote – Professor Lee Elliot Major, author and Professor of Social Mobility at the University of Exeter Lee Elliot Major, the UK’s inaugural Professor of Social Mobility at the University of Exeter, specialises in improving opportunities for young people from underresourced backgrounds. He collaborates with schools, universities, global employers, and policymakers, focusing on research with tangible policy impacts. His acclaimed publications include Social Mobility and Its Enemies, What Works? What Do We Know and What Should We Do About Social Mobility? and his recent work Equity in Education proposes an innovative equity-driven strategy for schools.

Workshop B – choose from the following: UCAS Personal Statements and Reference Writing Masterclass - Presented by Ross Sanger, Digital Learning Developer at UCAS Understand how UCAS can support teachers and advisers through their toolkits and resources with personal statement guidance, improving student statement writing and the reference process Nutrition in your school – Claire King, founder: The Nutrition Advisory Team Claire King, an ex-headteacher, explores the link between nutrition, brain development, and behaviour. After completing her MSc in Nutrition and Behaviour at BU, she pioneered Nutri-Kit, an educational tool advocating sustainable health choices for transformative impact for key stage 3. Student transition support – presented by Rima Bist, The Brilliant Club and Dr Camila Devis-Rozental, Principal Academic, Socio-emotional intelligence & Enabling Excellence Discover ways to enhance student transition support. Join Dr Camila Devis-Rozental as she unveils key insights from her recent publication, The Student Wellbeing Toolkit. She will be joined by The Brilliant Club who will highlight sector trends, showcase student achievements, and introduce their Join the Dots programme, designed to connect schools, colleges and universities.
