The 1873 Leadership Giving Society and Nursing
Leadership Founders Society
In 1873, three pioneering nursing educational programs paved the way for future generations of nurses. Their unwavering dedication and labor eventually paved the way to the establishment of the Northeastern University School of Nursing almost 90 years later. As we celebrate our 60th (1963) anniversary for the School of Nursing, we honor and recognize the trailblazers by launching the 1873 Leadership Giving Society and the Nursing Leadership Founding Society. Their legacy continues to inspire us to strive for excellence and impact the world of nursing.
