PHARMACY WHITE COAT SOCIETY
Undergraduates entering the pharmacy profession are welcomed each year at the White Coat Ceremony held by the Bouvé College of Health Sciences School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. For the past few years, alumni and friends have supported the event with a gift and special note to honor a student.
We're happy to share the news that the Society of Pharmacy White Coat (SPWC) is being established. The mission is to continue the legacy of philanthropically supporting the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences’ White Coat Ceremony while expanding resources to current students.

The Society of Pharmacy White Coat has the following stated goals:
• Assist the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in establishing a network of philanthropic leaders committed to influencing the pharmacy profession.
• Fostering student leadership, which will benefit their careers now and in the future.
• Encourage alumni and friends of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences to donate to the program and the College by setting an example of philanthropic leadership.
• Establish a global network of like-minded professionals to bolster the leadership of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
As members of the SPWC, we consider this to be an important step in fulfilling the specific obligation outlined in the Oath of a Pharmacist to share our expertise and inspire the next generation of pharmacy professionals.
The annual cost of the event, vital programming, student support services, select student fees, and student mentoring will all be underwritten thanks to your generosity. Up to three times a year, we'll host events where you can reconnect with current students and find out what's new at your school.

No amount is too small to donate to the fund. Sponsoring a student's white coat is a great way to show support for the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and its students.

In keeping with the Experience Powered by Northeastern University Capital Campaign, a unique opportunity to name the White Coat Ceremony is now available. By endowing the White Coat Ceremony, a philanthropist can provide a permanent source of funding for the event.
