Scott’s Spot

Hello all and welcome to the December edition of Scott’s Spot.

REGIONAL MEETINGS

There have been back-to-back Regionals throughout the month of November, starting with the award-winning Dalrymple Hotel in Stansbury hosting the Yorke Peninsula meeting, followed by the beautifully renovated Hotel Boston hosting the Eyre Peninsula meeting.

A massive thank you to both of these venues for hosting the event, along with the incredibly strong attendance from members within these regions. Thanks also to the wonderful support from our corporate partners. See separate 'Regional Meetings' article for photos.

The Port Lincoln Hotel hosted their annual Christmas event which was also extremely well attended, so thanks as always to Brooke and her team for inviting me along. Enjoy these pics taken at each of these events.

AROUND THE AHA | SA OFFICE

I would like to wish Bronte McCarthy all the best in what will be a welldeserved retirement. At the time of writing, he has three weeks left to go and will be missed.

Didier Vollerin turns 50 this month. Happy birthday to the great man, with all attendees belting out a stirring rendition of Happy Birthday at the Hotel Boston. Lucy Randall sourced the cake in the early hours.

To the last photo of the year... I called into the Freeling Hotel and it was great to see Dee and Richard from the Clare Castle, Kapunda catching up with Mel and Dom. I have noted over my time in this role that Dom loves photo shoots, so here you go mate!

FAREWELL & WELCOME

I wanted to acknowledge venues who have been part of the AHA|SA for a number of years and wish all the best for future endeavours while welcoming new licensees.

• Prince Of Wales Kapunda

• The Fed on Semaphore

I’d like to wish all of our members and corporate partners a wonderful Christmas and happy new year.

2022 has been a lot of fun with large turnouts to all AHA|SA events throughout the year.

Thank you all.
