at a glance Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore provides a fun, safe and constructive environment for 1,224 kids and teens during the out-of-school hours and summer months. We are a communitybased charitable organization led by 43 professional staff and 154 dedicated volunteers, primarily serving youth in the Muskegon County area.

BGCML offers a variety of tested, proven and nationally recognized programs designed to empower kids and teens to excel in school, become good citizens and lead healthy, productive lives. Each program is tailored to the youth we serve and customized for each age group to meet the interests and developmental needs of our area young people.

As we look to the future, we feel it is our duty to provide exceptional opportunities for the youth of Muskegon County. BGCML stands firm in its belief that every young person deserves the chance to realize his or her full potential and achieve a great future.

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

To be the beacon of hope & light to over 1,000 youth, each day. Through teamwork, dedicated staff and volunteers cultivate a “Culture of Cool” by offering age appropriate and dynamic programming, easily accessible to any youth, ages 6-18 within the Muskegon County area. Supported by sustained funding The Boys & Girls Club will be the premier youth serving organization.
