Spreading Kindness at Central Park
Check out the new mural located on the picnic shelter at Central Park! Painted for ‘Kindness Day Bolingbrook’ which began in 2021, the mural represents the importance of spreading kindness and how everyone can make a difference. The artist, Stacy Lazzara, who has been featured on the Today Show for her chalk work, graciously agreed to paint the outdoor mural behind the Annerino Community Center. The mural will serve as a reminder that we have a choice every day to put good into the world.

Teen’s Night Out at Pelican Harbor
Is your teen looking for a fun night out? Sign them up for the Bolingbrook Park District’s Teen Pool Party at Pelican Harbor! On July 19th, from 7:30–9:30 pm, participants seventh grade through high school will have the aquatic park to themselves. “We are extremely excited to host our first teen night at Pelican Harbor,” says Lindsey Pollina, Dance Program Manager for the Bolingbrook Park District. “We are focused on trying to build the teen programs, and this is an event we are looking forward to.” The party will have giant lawn games such as Jenga and checkers for participants to play and giveaways at the door. A food voucher is also provided which is good for one hotdog, chips and a beverage from the concession stand. Registration will be at the gates upon entry.
