Autumn newness

TAKE IT SLOW THIS AUTUMN WITH BY BASICS’ TIMELESS WARDROBE ESSENTIALS

The ethos behind Danish brand by basics is slow fashion. So moving into a new season is all about encouraging customers to re-use their favourite pieces while updating their wardrobes with a few new tones and styles.

Ready for when the weather turns cooler, by basics is placing a strong focus on its blusbar range, which offers everyday basics crafted in mulesing-free merino wool. Its designers have created 12 new styles so buyers can now choose from more than 100 different pieces. And, like always, the new designs are not just added for one season - they’re in the range for good.

With by basics there are no seasons or ever-changing collections. The brand adds relevant new pieces twice a year and trims its range simultaneously to ensure it contains the exact styles and colours buyers need. It's one collection in a world of colours and slow fashion at its best.

Commenting on the new styles, by basics CDO Anne Dorte Thøger explains: “We are currently experiencing crises which we have no influence over - and we must accept that the world has changed and will change. The disruption has been going on long enough for some of our new ways of living to become habits. In fashion, we see nostalgia in many guises. Elements from the past are reviewed and used to create a new image - an image that reflects our desire to navigate into a better future.”

MEET BY BASICS

This July, by basics will present its latest styles at Scoop in London. Find the brand at the show’s Danish section to feel the quality of its garments and hear more about its 360-approach to ethical fashion.
