Our Story
There are moments when the world spins and you grab hold to take the next step of a new adventure... hatched, the name of our furniture company nods to the exciting moment we launched our collaborative efforts in design. Our small line of pieces is a beginning we intend to build upon in coming years, drawing from contemporary art, traditional craftsmanship, and the sentiment loaded in the word home. From a family of designers, architects, artists and builders, Brandon began young applying his attention to detail to the restoration of historic homes and later found his creative niche in designing and building furniture. Debra brings her experience and education in contemporary art to the design of each piece. Educated at Sotheby’s in London, she currently is the Director of an established New York art gallery.

Trees Ln. is an obscure dirt road, named after a local farmer, that leads to a beach. The coloring from our iron and vinegar finish technique lends to this farmhouse or driftwood feel. Yet the lines of the piece are crisp and contemporary, and there is a visual luxury to the silken ripples of the polished grayed wood-grain.

Our Process
to custom design & build
We begin by sitting and listening to your practical needs and from there we sketch and sketch until a form that suits the space arrives. We then move to rendering software and adjust the dimensions to your space. We show you the renderings suggesting materials and dance like this until we settle on the piece.
After a deposit is secured we begin building your piece. Our handcrafting brings a very personal attention to detail, which is marked in small ways on each piece, such as the inevitable scribe line used to layout dovetails.

Because we design and build in house we are flexible, and all of our furniture can be personalized. When we work with you on a design we listen to both your practical and aesthetic needs.
