Maximum agility on the LAPV 6.X has been achieved by minimising weight – without compromising on protection and payload capacity. Other key factors contributing to greater performance/agility include:
The LAPV 6.X can transport up to 1.4 tonnes of payload, while keeping cargo and crew safe from attack and moving with astonishing speed and ease. In addition, the LAPV 6.X is based on a 4-door monocoque which can be adapted with an armoured/non-armoured rearend module. No other manufacturer is able to offer this kind of balance without trade-offs in a patrol vehicle.

The LAPV 6.X sets the pace by uniting amazing agility with unprecedented protection in the light armoured weight class. The optional ballistic protected front-end/engine compartment (STANAG level 1) ensures maximum mobility even under fire. So you’re extremely safe on the go.
Based on the tried and tested G-Class design, the LAPV 6.X portal axles ensure max. offroad capability and low drivetrain wear. The tyre inflation system integrated in the wheel rim quickly adapts traction to ground conditions while driving: min. 0.8 bar to max. 3.8 bar in approx. 300 seconds.
To handle tough terrains, the LAPV 6.X includes a proven technology from rally race trucks: variable lift coil-over air shock absorbers for dynamic adjustment of vehicle clearance. The high ground clearance (approx. 450 mm) also allows for an impressive fording depth of 1,000 mm.

Do more on your patrols Accommodating up to four service persons and their equipment, the basic version of the LAPV 6.X already provides you with COMMs, C2 and state-of-the-art navigation. An optional jammer increases the protection against IEDs. Additional COMMs turn the vehicle into a highly mobile
command post or network base station and an infrared/electro-optic driver support gives you the edge at night. Agile patrol and command capabilities enable you to liaise, command and protect. Internal safety is enhanced with poisonous gas detection and automatic ďŹ re protection.
Detect, track and locate communication signals with radio communication, surveillance, monitoring and direction ďŹ nding features. The extended mast provides a long range advantage and passive GSM interception puts you a decisive step ahead in planning.
Improve your reconnaissance The state-of-the-art electro-optics package with range finding is ideal for target acquisition, situational awareness & reconnaissance. The target designation function allows you to locate and identify your target from a distance or out of hiding. The standard or extended COMMs and C2-System can task artillery
Detect your surroundings fire or forward messages on observation. The acquired information can be transmitted to anyone who needs it, such as ground forces, headquarters, artillery or aircraft. Zoomed video, infrared and thermal imaging provide piercing eyesight in daylight, darkness, dust and mist.
