Elbow The elbow is a complex joint. During daily activities and sporting activities, it plays an important role in every movement. Direct hit and long-term exposure to pressure will cause olecranon bursitis affecting hand functions or limiting elbow movement. In addition, injuries in the upper arm muscles will limit elbow flexion and extension. Exercises, and sometimes daily activities, often create traumatic harm to the elbow joints and tendons. Tendonitis and bursitis are the common conditions following sudden or chronic stress to the elbow area.
