It’s hard to imagine that another year has come and gone and whether we’re ready or not, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Bradshaws.
Christmas, for us, is a year-long affair; although we begin purchasing seasonal items for our store in January it always seems to sneak up on us, especially given the extraordinarily warm fall weather we have had. As we have begun setting out Christmas arrivals in the store this season, so many customers are picking up stocking stuffers or gifts to hide away for the loved ones on their Christmas lists. These savvy customers know to grab it while we’ve got it and are not prone to procrastinating like so many of us.
For Jeremy and I, the Christmas season is a flurry of activity, both in our personal lives and at the store. It often seems that life speeds up to a pace that at times makes it a challenge to keep up. It is in
these moments, we are so grateful to be surrounded by our incredible team at Bradshaws. We are fortunate to have a compassionate, knowledgeable and highly engaged staff who take pride in making sure Bradshaws is at its best even in the most frenetic months of the year. We work together to create an magical Christmas atmosphere, something warm and familiar, nostalgic and inviting. cranberry whisky sour
Fill Vesper jar with whisky or non-alcoholic whisky, or soda water. Refrigerate for up to 3 days. Strain 1.5 oz shot into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
Add juice of 1 lemon and a splash of cranberry juice. Add 1 egg white (optional) and shake vigorously. Garnish with fresh cranberries and a slice of orange and a sprig of rosemary.
hot buttered rum
1.5 oz blended aged rum
3 tsp Hot Buttered Rum Mix
6 oz hot water
Combine hot buttered rum mix and rum in a mug. Add hot water and stir until well combined. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Make it your own:
Add sweet cream or coconut milk to taste!
g ingerbread egg nog
2 oz Rum
1 oz Gingerbread Syrup
4 oz Eggnog
Combine all ingredients and either shake with ice or stir on ice. Make a big batch for your holiday party!
marshmallow mule
Fill Vesper jar with any spirit or non-alcoholic spirit, or soda water. Refrigerate for up to 3 days. Strain 1.5 oz shot into an ice-filled glass. Top with Ginger Beer or Soda Water. Add a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Garnish with toasted marshmallows.
hot toddy
Pour boiling water into a mug. Place 1 level spoon of infusion mix into sachet and steep in hot water for 3-5 minutes.
Add 1.5 oz Reposado Tequila or other spirit (or omit for non-alcohol version).
Garnish with a cinnamon stick and enjoy.
Rim a tall glass using a lime wedge and dip glass in The Pickle House Rimmer. Fill with ice.
Add 1.5 oz Vodka and 6 oz of The Pickle House Spiced Tomato Mix to glass. Garnish with a cooked shrimp just to be EXTRA.

Fill Vesper Jar with a dry red wine that was heated. (Use heated unsweetened cranberry juice as a non-alcohol option).
Let infuse in jar for 1 hour.
Strain 4oz into each serving glass.
Garnish with an orange slice and cinnamon stick.
