It’s hard to go anywhere these days and not find a brewery, and the Nisswa area is no exception.

We have Big Axe Brewing Company right downtown, Roundhouse Brewery just minutes away, and Jack Pine Brewery down the road in Baxter.

They all make top-notch beers.

But what if you don’t drink? I am here to tell you that it doesn’t matter - you can still have a great time at a brewery!

Big Axe Brewing Company offers house-made root beer and cream soda. They have an exceptional dining menu, with everything from cheese curds to tacos, burgers to walleye dinners, brisket sandwiches and smoked trout dip.

They have a fantastic patio where you can soak up the sun by the awesome mural. They offer several fun activities, such as live music, trivia, karaoke, painting nights, burger specials, wing specials and Happy Hour to Help.

Plus the patio is dog friendly and they are also kid friendly!

Roundhouse Brewery has a cool atmosphere with a train theme throughout. You can sip on their house-made kombucha or root beer.

The Dining Car offers appetizers like pretzel bites and pot stickers. Follow that up with a wrap, sandwich, burger or their very own beer brat produced in partnership with Schaefer’s Foods.
