“Fairfax” - Season 2

Do it all for the clout with Season 2 of “Fairfax,” available to stream Friday, June 10, on Prime. Following middle school best friends Dale (Skyler Gisondo, “The Amazing Spider-Man,” 2012), Derica (Kiersey Clemons, “Dope,” 2015), Benny (Peter S. Kim, “A Spy Movie,” 2021) and Truman (Jaboukie Young-White, “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” 2018) on their never-ending quest for clout on Los Angeles’ Fairfax Avenue (the ultimate center of hypebeast culture), this adult animated comedy sees the friends do whatever it takes to get popular and stay popular in the age of social media. From standing in line for a pair of sneakers they’ll never wear to trying out viral challenges, these ride-or-die friends do it all. Created by Matt Hausfater (“Undateable”) and new writer/producers Aaron Buchsbaum and Teddy Riley, Season 2 of “Fairfax” also voice stars John Leguizamo (“Encanto,” 2021), J.B. Smoove (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”) and Colton Dunn (“Superstore”), and features a special guest appearance from “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” host and Food Network superstar Guy Fieri.

“Zero Dark Thirty” (2013)

Jet off on an incredible mission with the 2013 film “Zero Dark Thirty,” available to stream now on Prime. Set following the terror attacks on the World Trade Center and across the United States on Sept. 11, 2001, this action film — named for the American military slang phrase signifying the unspecified time between midnight and sunrise — follows a female CIA operative named Maya (Jessica Chastain, “The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” 2021), who is navigating her first experiences within the organization at the same time as multiple Al Qaeda prisoners thought to be involved in the recent terror plot are being brutally interrogated. While Maya does not condone the extreme methods practiced by the United States government in order to obtain the valuable information, she has managed to acquire enough information to figure out where to find Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden. It isn’t long before the U.S. Navy dispatches SEAL Team 6 to find and kill Bin Laden, but the only problem now is that Maya appears to be the only one who is confident about his location.

Written by Mark Boal and directed by two-time Academy Award-winning filmmaker Kathryn Bigelow (both of “The Hurt Locker,” 2008), “Zero Dark Thirty” also stars Joel Edgerton (“The Great Gatsby,” 2013), Jennifer Ehle (“Pride & Prejudice”), Jason Clarke (“Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,” 2014), Mark Strong (“1917,” 2019) and Chris Pratt (“Jurassic World,” 2015).
