“Super Chefs” also gave Burrell another chance to revive her friendly rivalry with her Season 1 “Worst Cooks” adversary, “Restaurant: Impossible” star Robert Irvine. “He just keeps turning up and I’m like, ‘When are you just going to give up? All right, I’ll just have to beat you again,’ ” she says, laughing. When the third season of “Worst Cooks” debuts in 2012, Burrell will go spoon to spatula with one of Food Network’s – and the culinary world’s – most formidable talents, “Iron Chef America” original Bobby Flay. “I know Bobby, and I really respect him,” Burrell says of her new nemesis. “But when the cameras start rolling, all bets are off – I’m definitely in it to win!”

“I’m reading Gabrielle Hamilton’s ‘Bones, Blood & Butter.’ It’s a really good read.”
What did you have for dinner last night?
“I ordered out some noodles. Some broth noodles, so rice vermicelli flavored a lot with lime and chicken broth, with scallions and mung bean sprouts.”

“ ‘Worst Cooks’ with Bobby Flay!”
When was your last vacation – where and why?
“Hawaii for a food and wine festival. I had never been to Hawaii before, and I was like, ‘I don’t have any desire to go to Hawaii – it’s so far and ... .’ Then I got there and was like, ‘Ahhh! I understand the lure of Hawaii now.’ ”
