Connections: Art and Book Club 19+ years
Literature and visual art connect, intersect, and reflect in this distinctive book club. Enjoy a virtual tour of PAMA's Simon Hughes exhibit (https:// www.peelregion.ca/pama/simon-hughes/), exploring the artist's Canadian-themed narrative paintings, then join us to discuss Our Homesick Songs by Emma Hooper at our online meeting. A PAMA staff member will be on hand to talk about the exhibit. Registration required.* After registration, library staff will contact participants to schedule curbside pickup for the book and participants will receive a link to join the program via email. LGBTQ2S+ Book Club 19+ years
All are welcome to join us for this virtual book club featuring titles with LGBTQ2S+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, 2 Spirit) themes or written by authors who identify as such. In partnership with Moyo Health Clinic & Community Services, our monthly online meetings will feature Our Own Private Universe by Robin Talley in September and We Have Always Been Here: A Queer Muslim Memoir by Samra Habib in October.
