Canadian Raptor Conservancy

The Canadian Raptor Conservancy is an organization with over twenty years' experience providing education about Canada’s various species of birds of prey. Music at the Towers Orchestral Instruments Session

8–12 years

Is your child curious about orchestral instruments, but you're not sure how to develop that interest? Join us for this one-of-a-kind March break program where members of the Music at the Towers youth orchestra will help children test out various orchestral instruments in an effort to explore curiosity, interest, and a love for music. Online French Club

Grades 1–8

Canadian Parents for French is offering online homework help, Francofun and French conversations and activities for students in grades 1–8. Sessions are offered on Wednesdays, from January 11 to March 8 and March 22 to June 14, 2023. The club runs from 5:30–6:30 p.m. No sessions are offered on public holidays. Instead of a single night on the town, kids get a whole week of March Break fun to learn and socialize! In this special March Break edition of Paint the Town, children will learn techniques for creating art using acrylic paint. These artistled sessions will encourage creativity while building skills and confidence in an inclusive environment. All materials will be provided. Write It Workshop

Grades 4–8

This program focuses on improving the writing skills of children in Grades 4-8, through fun and interactive activities. Participants will be encouraged to find their voice and gain confidence in their writing choices. This workshop is offered in three parts, however sessions can be attended individually.
