Of course salary and an impressive hiring package may get those offer letters signed, but there’s much more to consider when it comes to employee retention. Losing employees is expensive business; companies have incurred $223 billion in costs due to turnover linked to workplace culture over the past five years (SHRM). “Burnout” has been a huge buzzword and cultural phenomenon, with 52% of the global workforce experiencing some version of it since the beginning of 2021. A true threat to productivity and morale, burnout is credited as a major factor in what has been dubbed the “Great Resignation.”

So how can HR professionals hit their employee retention goals?
