Institutional Fact Book 2018 Edition

Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology Institutional Fact Book The information contained in the Institutional Fact Book is collected from several Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology (OSUIT) offices. The enrollment data are based on the preliminary data stored after the last day to drop courses with no grade record which is traditionally the end of the second week of classes. The retention, graduation rates, and degrees awarded information is based on end-of-term data. The faculty information is provided by the Human Resources Office, the financial information is provided by the Accounting department, and the library holdings information is provided by the OSUIT Library. OSUIT has shown a decrease in enrollment for several fall terms. Beginning with fall 2014, the decreases were mainly caused by the College of the Muscogee Nation becoming more self-sufficient with new HLC accreditation and with the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education restructuring of the cooperative alliance program with the Oklahoma Technology Centers. Please note that, to the extent possible, the data presented on the following pages represent snapshots taken at the same time of the academic year. In some instances, however, variations in reporting cycles have limited our ability to do so. For this reason, the reader who attempts to cross-reference certain data tables may find discrepancies which may not be due to inaccuracies in the data. Additional copies may be printed or downloaded from the OSUIT Institutional Research website (osuit.edu/research/).
