WELCOME TO THE COWBOY FAMILY Welcome to your future as a loyal and true member of the Cowboy family. Within these pages, you will find the essentials for your next steps as an OSU student. Transfer enrollment is designed to introduce you to the necessary information you'll need to make a successful transition to Oklahoma State University. In addition to meeting your academic adviser and enrolling in courses, you'll also be introduced to the many resources on campus that can help you gain skills in leadership development and internship experiences important to obtaining your ideal career path after graduation. Getting Started Activate Orange Key (O-Key)

Registering for your Transfer Enrollment Day requires an O-Key login. If you have not already activated your O-Key, visit okey.okstate.edu and follow the activation steps. Register Online

Beginning Feb. 1, you may register for your Transfer Enrollment Day at newstudents.okstate.edu. Students transferring to OSU enroll simultaneously with current OSU students according to the number of hours earned to date. This doesn't include hours in which you are currently enrolled. Please select a Transfer Enrollment Day that corresponds with the number of credit hours you have completed. We encourage you to select the earliest available program, which will provide the greatest opportunity for course choice. Dates for Transfer Enrollment Days

BEYOND ACADEMICS We know your transfer to Oklahoma State University is motivated by completing your degree, but life on campus is about more than just academics. At OSU, it is important to use the resources that can help make you more marketable to employers after graduation. OSU Career Services can help you build your rĂŠsumĂŠ, strengthen your interview skills and find the best career after graduation. In addition, each academic college provides career services professionals to help you gain experience, especially in internships that enhance your area of study. With more than 400 student organizations, we have plenty of opportunities to increase your leadership skills. The Transfer Student Organization offers you a unique place to connect with other students just like you. Tau Sigma, an academic honor society, recognizes and promotes the academic excellence and involvement of transfer students. The Off-Campus Student Organization uniquely addresses the needs of students living off campus. During your Transfer Enrollment Day, the offices of Career Services, Campus Life and the LASSO (Learning and Student Success Opportunity) Center will hold information sessions on the tools available to help you during the beginning of your OSU journey.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Do I have to attend a Transfer Enrollment Day?

Yes. Participation in a transfer enrollment program is required for all new transfer students entering OSU. Academic advising and course enrollment is completed during the program. I’ve already been through orientation at my previous institution. Why do I need to attend?

We know you don’t need a freshman orientation. Transfer Enrollment Days provide a specific time to meet with advisers, enroll in classes, meet with other student service representatives and learn how to navigate OSU systems during one campus visit. Do I need to register ahead of time?

Can I bring guests with me?

Yes. We offer a family program for parents, spouses, family members and friends at a cost of $20/adult. Select this option when you register for your program date. Is there a cost?

There is no upfront cost for you to attend. Instead, you’re charged a one-time $75 orientation/enrollment fee in your first bill of the semester. What do I need to bring?

What you will need is dependent on your particular situation. We’ll contact you prior to your enrollment date with specific requirements. Some of the most common items are: • Transcripts • Photo identification
