I know Branimir Brozig as a student in the Architecture Faculty of the UACG, Department of Theory and History of Architecture, which I chair. I was also leading his Diploma work project, which he successfully presented to the State commission of the University, with full excellent marks. Brozig has shown himself as a very dedicated student and a multifaceted personality. His attitude to the architecture profession is a widely universalist, which means, Brozig strives for widening the professional problematic to a cross disciplinary conglomerate of knowledge and potential. He is not limiting the architecture discourse to formal, aesthetical, or structural and functional aspects, but he is focusing his attention to the principles of organization and order in the architecture phenomenon, be it design objects, buildings or cities. In parallel – in his last projects – Brozig examines the social and economical organizational structures and forces that underlie the architecture process in any society. Wide professional erudition and horizon of cultural interest and fluent use of English language add to the profile of personal potential of Branimir. Knowing his organizational capacities, and incisive grasping of details, as well as the ability to change scales of though and correlate structures of different origins and dimensions, I trust that Branimir will find his way in professional life in any circumstances… But if a support might be given to him, Brozig will certainly justify the effort of any institution.

Mr. Branimir Brozig, born on 31.08.1988., an architecture student at UACEG, Sofia, worked between 1.12.2012 and 30.07.2013 at our bureau. During this period Mr. Brozig took part in the development of the following projects with great motivation and responsibility: HOLZMARKT - concept and technical project of a village-like innercity complex; SPREEFELD - technical project and realization of a technical building with a greenhouse on the roof; LEHRTER STRASSE - a series of competitions for the masterplan of a residential complex for 600 residents in the heart of Berlin; Activities: preparation of CAD - drawings in 3D, models, details, presentations, communication with clients and partners. Mr Brozig quickly and skillfully got familiar with the studio and the software we used (ArchiCaD, Graphisoft, Ms Office). His knowledge of the German language grew and amassed during his stay here. He took part in solving creative individual tasks with eagarness, initiative and curiosity. Even when facing short terms, he handled his tasks correctly and skillfully. The projects he worked on, he treated with reliability and attention. In his communication with clients and colleagues he was correct and friendly. We learned to highly value his various skills and knowledge in areas, different from his primary occupation. I thank him for his commitment and wish him success for the future in his personal and professional life.

The project is a result from my sustainable interest towards entrepreneurship, economy and social processes driving the world forward. It is kind of schizophrenic, as it tries to merge the architect and developer figure in one - not only the functional and aesthetical sides of architecture have been treated, but also the energy potentially charging the whole process. Starting off by researching problems and needs of Bulgaria and defining clear steps towards their solution, the project makes suggestions about chainging things in the long term. It comes up with the construction of a business incubator. The project looks into possible financing options, success scenarios and functioning possibilities for the building, taking into account current expences and calculating the payoff period. Due to the extend of dedication, the owner of the building showed interest, and talks about the future of the being are conducted.
