Branson U is a local nonprofit committed to the premise that local government exists to serve the community and shouldn’t be secretive or exclusive. Making sure elected officials are accountable and accessible, however, is the responsibility of informed citizens who take the time to Learn, Lead, and Love—educating themselves about how local government works and getting involved to keep leaders accountable and maintain what we love about our communities. To accomplish this, Branson U offers educational materials online and regularly hosts events to help area citizens stay informed.
