An upcoming benefit will raise money for women of Taney County.
Set for late July, a benefit concert featuring Cross Country Gospel will be held to raise money for the Crisis Center of Taney County.
“Cross Country Gospel is a southern gospel band,” explained a band spokesperson. “We travel to Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, and of course, Missouri. We are putting together the benefit and teaming up with some of the area churches.”
The concert is free to the public, but donations are appreciated.
The event will also include a silent auction, with numerous items to bid on, donated by various Taney County businesses and residents.
The benefit is set for Saturday, July 30 at 4 p.m. at the White River Youth Campground, 13573 State Highway 76 in Forsyth. All of the proceeds from the concert and the silent auction will be presented to the Crisis Center of Taney County.
