Checklist for new students prior to first class 1. Check that you have completed ACU Business Foundation Scholarship application online http://students.acu.edu.au/administration_and_enrolment/faculties_and_ schools/business/scholarships/business_foundation_scholarship 2. Set up auto forward of ACU student email to your personal mail box (optional)

3. Apply for your student card on-line 4. Check fees paid, or fee help applied for, to avoid penalty fee.

Preparing for your first weekend classes 1. Acc e ss i n g co u r s e m at e r i a l In line with the university’s environmental and sustainability policy, course materials for the MBAE program are provided on-line. All course material can now be accessed via LEO. Once enrolled in a unit, the unit outline and course material can be accessed using LEO 1 week prior to commencement of the relevant Term. Below is the link for LEO.
https://leo.acu.edu.au/login/index.php MBAE students have the option of downloading the material themselves to bring to class or viewing it in class via a laptop or tablet. The material is broken down into the 5 days of the intensive weekends. It is important that all pre reading – textbook and additional readings are completed prior to class. You access LEO by; •

How to enrol in a unit 1. Access your Course Enrolment Guide (CEG) by clicking on the Quicklinks box on the homepage of the ACU Students web site. 2. Login to Student Connect 3. Select ‘My Enrolment’ from the Main Menu 4. Select ‘Enrolment Manager’ 5. Select ‘Unit Search’ 6. Select the relevant ‘Term’ (ie 2013 MBA Executive Term A) 7. Select your current course from the Study Path drop down list and select ‘Submit’ 8. A. Select the relevant Unit Code from the available options and enter the corresponding Unit Number (as advised in your CEG) eg Unit Code=ACCT and Unit Number=600
B. Select the relevant ‘Campus’ (ie North Sydney)
C. Select ‘Unit Search’
9. A. Tick the box in front of the unit with the relevant Location and Mode to select the unit
B. Select ‘Register’ to add that unit to your enrolment. NOTE: To add additional units to your enrolment in the same term, select ‘Unit Search’ and repeat from point 8. To add additional units to your enrolment in a different term, click ‘Select Study Period’ and repeat from point 6.

How to withdraw from a unit 1. Login to Student Connect 2. Select ‘My Enrolment’ from the Main Menu 3. Select ‘Enrolment Manager’ 4. Select ‘Enrolment Variations’ 5. Select the relevant ‘Term’ (ie 2013 MBA Executive Term A) 6. Select your current course from the Study Path drop down list and select ‘Submit’ 7. Next to the relevant unit code/s select the drop-down list under the ‘Action’ heading 8. Select ‘Withdraw from unit’ 9. Select ‘Submit changes’
