Bakgrunn: Alle kirurger ønsker å tilby helsetjenester og operasjoner av høy kvalitet. Men det eksisterer dessverre uønsket variasjon i operasjoner og komplikasjoner. Så hvordan forbedrer vi oss? De Norske kvalitetsregister spiller en sentral rolle, men fokus på kontinuerlig kvalitetsforbedring ved hver enkelt kirurgisk avdeling er samtidig essensielt. Internasjonale og nasjonale eksperter med interesse for kirurgisk kvalitetsforbedring vil forelese. Målgruppe for symposiet er alle kirurger, symposiet blir på engelsk.
