There are so many great memories from the Orlando Creative Real Estate Awards on December 15, 2018! For this evening, 10 Real Estate companies were selected, each honoring its best Realtor®. Eduardo Pavone was the winner of the best real estate broker in Talent Realty. According to him, this was the result of dedication, and, without a doubt, the fantastic help of his team. His story in Orlando started 10 years ago, when he bought houses as an investment. It was during that time his passion for the real estate market started, leading him to become a licensed realtor in 2015. “I got my license and entered the market right away. I was in love! I loved the fact that I could work and help many interesting people who come from Brazil to Orlando,” explained the real estate broker. According to him, one factor that really makes him different is that he has felt the “other side of the business.” As a former client and, today, an experienced real estate broker, he knows exactly what the client’s needs and concerns are

SANDRINA LIRA WINS THE AWARD FOR THE BEST BROKER FOR SELECTA REALTY Last year’s event awarding best Realtor® of the year, the Orlando Creative Real Estate Awards, was missed by some people. So, it is always worth remembering and honoring each participant of that special day. The winner of the award for the best real estate broker in Selecta Realty, Sandina Lira, is also a journalist for RedeTV and an event coordinator for SL Productions USA, responsible for many different well-known events like Padre Fábio de Melo’s show for 1,800 people, and the first brazilian event at the “Church of All Nations Theater” located in the Holy Land Experience theme park. Her story in Real Estate started five years ago when she started to invest in properties with her family. It was from there that her passion for the industry started and made Sandina become a successful broker! Things like working on television for more than 13 years, graduating from Hospitality and Tourism (Rosen College) and Spanish (UCF), and knowing the three cultures contributed significantly to her career as a real estate broker, according to Sandina. In addition, she has been in the United States for more than 15 years and has lived in different neighborhoods of Orlando, so she has learned the characteristics of each neighborhood well and could help her clients even more. When she thinks back to her award at the Creative Design event along with Orlando Real Estate Magazine BrazilUSA, Sandina is immensely happy and grateful. “2017 was not a year like I wanted in Real Estate. So when it came to the end, I said that 2018 would be my year! And so it was the year that I most sold houses, I rented more apartments, and won more prizes, not only the best real estate broker in Selecta Realty in the Creative Design Magazine event, but also the best Rockstar broker in Selecta Realty,” celebrated the journalist. Sandina also thanked her mom, her grandmother, and her brother for being key players in her career as a real estate broker and also reflected on the success that was the Orlando Creative Real Estate Awards event. “It was a beautiful event, with everyone all done up and a really cool energy. I felt like I was receiving an award in the Oscar’s of Real Estate! There so many cameras showing everything on the big screens, wonderful food and everything was very well organized. Very good! FLORIDA HITS RECORD NUMBER OF VISITORS FOR THE 8TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR.

From March 7th to 9th, took place at the Doubletree Sea World Hotel, the “President-Elect Training” ( PETS) of Rotary Clubs of Florida and Bahamas, for the year 2019/20,. Cacilda Garbin participated in the event as president-elect and received the banner with the new motto “Rotary Connect the World”. According to the President-elect Rotary International, Mr. Mark Maloney, “we are connected to human diversity in a special way, forming lasting bonds to reach a common goal. In this increasingly divided world, Rotary is the source of this connection”. On February 26th, Rotarian Flavia Colombelli presented the lecture “New Year: Responsibilities”, where she emphasized the importance of the payment of taxes of Brazilian residents in the USA, both in Brazil and in America.

On March 5th, the Rotary Club of Brazil Orlando hosted the Rotarian, Mariuze Odle, for an exciting lecture in which she reported her missionary experience in Kenya, especially with children and presented her project to include Kenyan girls in school. This event was attended by members of the Rotaract Club of Brazil Orlando, accompanied by its president Bruna Garbin Paes de Barros. Patricia Curcovezki, President of Rotary Club of Brazil Orlando, invites everyone to to come to the Rotary meetings and lectures.
