ABOUT BCA

Established in 2014, Breckenridge Creative Arts (BCA), or BreckCreate for short, is responsible for the successful management of a series of programs, properties and partnerships that collectively animate and populate the creative corridor in the heart of downtown Breckenridge. As a multidisciplinary nonprofit organization, BCA and its privately funded division Breck Music, support and produce music, culture and creative experiences throughout Breckenridge.

ARTS DISTRICT

The Breckenridge Arts District is a hub for creative experience bringing together studios, galleries, performance spaces, historic landmarks, public art, restaurants, cafes and other creative businesses that animate and populate the vibrant cultural corridor in downtown Breckenridge. The District’s core attraction is a lively arts campus of renovated historic structures that now function as studio spaces for classes, workshops, affordable rentals for local artists and visiting artists-in-residence programs.

The Breckenridge Arts District is a Certified District in the Colorado Creative Industries Creative District Program.

BRECK MUSIC

Breckenridge Music, now a privately funded division of Breckenridge Creative Arts, has been delivering high-quality live music performances and broad-based community music education to Summit County since 1981. Breck Music’s three core programs are: Breck Music Presents, a year-round series of pop music national touring acts at the Riverwalk Center; Breck Music Education, an annual series of in-school programs and free community events; and the annual Breckenridge Music Festival, a classical music festival under the innovative artistic direction of Steven Schick.

Event Registration, Reservation and Ticket Purchase

As we envisioned the 2021 season, we felt it our duty to help heal our community and therefore are offering as much of the programming as possible for free. As such, attendees will be directed to either register, reserve seats or buy tickets for the events that follow. Events that require registration are either free and general admission or for paid BreckCreate workshops and classes. Events that require reservations are free with reserved seating. Events that require ticket purchase are Breckenridge Music Presents events and the Gold Fest AirStage fundraiser. All registrations, reservations and ticket purchases are first come, first served.

The AirStage is Breck Music’s new mobile stage housed in the iconic shell of a 1975 Airstream Ambassador Travel Trailer. This authentically Breckenridge platform comes with all the bells and whistles to create a stellar mountain music experience, including "AirViz," a digital, audio-reactive graphical backdrop that subtly moves to the music. Attendees of AirStage events will be encouraged to follow all current state and local public health guidelines so that all can enjoy these much-needed experiences safely and without worry. Blankets and folding chairs are encouraged to help make the concert experience more comfortable.

AIRSTAGE is made possible by a group of generous community leaders and the following organizations:
