Originally from Houston, I acquired my BFA in Art with a specialization in Graphic Design and a BA in Theater with a specialization in Dance from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida in December of 2015. I am a dancer, choreographer, instructor, artist, graphic designer, and writer. I have always had a fascination with design and art. I chose to acquire my degree in graphic design because it allowed for me to be creative and artist but also challenge the tech nerd in me. I love being able to be free and boundless in my creativity. I have designed for a range of clients from friends to university departments. Over the years, I have worked with all sorts of artist from painters to performing artist. I enjoy being in the art world because it inspires me to become a better version of myself but also allows for me to meet people of all races, ethnicities, creeds, religions, and walks of life. I love art because it gives us a glimpse of the reality of others while still forcing us to connect with our inner selves. I began as a Hip Hop dancer but my passion for dance blossomed when i joined my high school dance team. During college, I was the Captain of the university’s dance team for two years and a member of the university’s company B.U.R.D.E for three years. I have choreographed and or danced for events such as campus sporting events, dance concerts, social justice and community events, competitions, and pep rallies. Post-graduation I have taught hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and dance fitness classes. I have also choreographed solos, duets, trios, and dance team routines. My favorite styles are Hip Hop, and Contemporary.

Responded to telephone inquiries promptly, professionally, and efficiently. Recommend process improvement to management team (Lessons Learned & Best Practices) Maintained a high level of knowledge and comply with all protocols, policies, and procedures. LAB MONITOR Barry University, Miami Shores, Florida January 2012—December 2015 Lab Supervisor — ensured that student employees completed all task given, arranged coverage for when incidents arose, and maintained proper operation of lab. Assisted students and faculty with large scale printing on Epson 3800, 7800, and 9900 printers. Troubleshooted issues in relation to programs and computer and printer malfunctions. Tutored students on their design skills and composition, proper printing techniques, and adobe suites — Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom. RESIDENT ASSISTANT Barry University, Miami Shores, Florida August 2012—May 2014 Conducted hall meetings on monthly bases to discuss and explain policies, issues, and concerns. Maintained an orderly, safe, trusting, and respectful environment. Supervised 50+ students and was the liaison between students and faculty. Responded to all emergency or problematic situations in the residence halls. Planned and implemented new programs monthly. Attended Housing and Residence Life and campus sponsored events. Project: Senior Exhibition Wellness Infographics Year: 2015 Description: These infographics are a direct representation of different aspects in which I currently live by. They are broken into two categories: benefits and explainations. The “Medicinal Tea”, “Musical Remedies,” and “Vegetarian Diet” infographics are a part of the benefits group and the “Yoga and Meditation,” “Daily Exercise,” and “Karmic Principles” content give more information and explain in detail what the aspects are about. I decided to print large vertical posters (25.5in x 66in) because it makes them look sleek and are easier to read even with all the information that I provided. I chose bright colors because they are bold and beautiful but also gives the posters a strong presence.
