SCCF to celebrate community with music at Point Ybel

The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation and Point Ybel Brewing Company will host a light-hearted community gathering that features live music on Jan. 29 from 4-6 p m in Fort Myers

The SCCF reported that the free event will take place in lieu of its regular seasonal fundraising events, including its Pine Island Sounds on-the-water concert series, which will not be able to be held this year

The headliner will be Cold Chocolate, a Boston-based Americana band that fuses folk, funk and bluegrass Led by Ethan Robbins and Ariel Bernstein, it has released three full-length albums and regularly performs up and down the East Coast

“The band was booked before the storm, and we’re thrilled to still be able to create a space for entertainment and community thanks to our partners at Point Ybel Brewing,” SCCF Facilities and Events Manager Jeff Siwicke said “We hope this allows everyone to take a break from hurricane recovery and just have fun ”

There will be a food truck will be on site
