Foreword As I write this I’m fresh off the Tahoe Rim Trail in California’s Sierra Nevada. The day has been filled with whoops and hollers, from my son on our Repack all-mountain machine and me on a Supercell XC/trail model. As we caromed off granite slabs and shot through forested chutes, our bikes deftly overcame every challenge the trail threw our way, and only asked for more. We’re feeling happy that others too can delight in the rugged responsiveness of Breezers, on great trails the world over. We both get a great rush of energy every day around home as well, when we’re getting around on our Breezer town bikes. Exactly the right bike for the job. I truly believe you’ll be pleased—enough to smile ear to ear— while riding a Breezer. Whether you’re out in the woods on a mountain bike or commuting home on a town bike, you should find maximum fun. We’re passionate about bikes, and I design every bike to sing, every day. I hope you’ll try a Breezer and experience the joy. –Joe Breeze, Zephyr Cove, July 23, 2015
TECH D’FUSION TUBING Breezer D’Fusion tubing strengthens Breezer bicycles with a unique D-shape profile on the top tube and downtube – near the head tube intersection – and at the top tube-seat tube intersection. Significant stress travels through these joints, and D’Fusion tubing’s broader cross section diffuses that load over a wider area, reducing the risk of fatigue. In the rear triangle, D’Fusion adds rigidity to the chainstays through a wider cross section, while positioning the broad area outboard to reduce chain suck. D’Fusion tubing eliminates ride-deadening and heavy gussets and lets the tubing do the lightweight and lively work it was designed to do. APEX DISC MOUNT The Breezer Apex Force Transfer (AFT) disc mount puts the rear brake caliper on the chainstay. The chainstay diameter provides greater torsional rigidity than the smaller seatstay. The dynamic braking force inherent to this position reduces chatter, and the caliper is safely protected within the apex of the rear triangle.
BREEZE-IN DROPOUTS Joe Breeze’s iconic Breeze-In dropout offers twice the rigidity and half the weight of standard dropouts. Breeze-Ins enable the stays to extend as close as possible to the rear axle, keeping the tubing the star of the show. Breeze-In dropouts improve shifting, wheel changes, and of course, ride quality.
M-Link WHAT IS MLink? MLink is a four-bar suspension system with the chainstay pivot positioned in the middle of the chainstay. This balanced design provides a smooth and efficient system with less flex, less binding, and less bearing and pivot stress.
WHY IS MLink BETTER? Short-link systems have very large bearing rotations and accelerations, maximizing the force the rear triangle exerts on them. MLink’s longer link means less bearing rotation for the same amount of travel, less stress for super-smooth suspension travel, and low bearing wear.
MLink technology sets a new standard for climbing on a full suspension bike. Lockouts and heavy pedaling platforms are things of the past. MLink is stiff and efficient, allowing you to hit climbs hard and fast with the suspension working to move you forward. No bobbing from pedaling forces, no bouncing around from a locked-out shock.
Mountain Bikes In 1977 when Joe Breeze hand-built the first modern mountain bikes, Breezer became the world’s first mountain bike brand. A lifelong, avid rider and intuitive designer-builder with an unrelenting focus on high performance and efficiency, Joe has never stopped innovating. His earliest mountain bikes can be seen at the Marin Museum of Bicycling and Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in Fairfax, California; at the Shimano Museum in Osaka, Japan, at the California Bicycle Museum (and US Bicycling Hall of Fame) in Davis, California; and at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in Washington, DC. But now: This year’s models.

Transportation In 2001, after years of advocacy for bike infrastructure, Joe Breeze tackled an issue: People in the US had no bikes truly useful for transportation. He focused his company 100% on “Transportation for a Healthy Planet” and soon produced a groundbreaking line of lively, fun-to-ride bikes fully equipped for everyday life. Thus Breezer became the original American transportation bike brand. Winning six Bicycling Magazine Editors’ Choice awards over the past eight years, Breezer continues to represent the pinnacle of modern transportation bike design. Joe gets around on Breezers every day and demands maximum fun out of every ride. That means high performance from every detail – and luckily, Joe’s a guy who knows how to deliver.
Town Bikes With Breezer Town bikes, Joe’s primary goal is to make it easy for you to enjoy day-to-day trips. Breezer Town bikes are great for short commutes to work or school, meeting up with friends, or running errands such as picking up groceries at the store or farmer’s market. The components are super simple to operate. Internal gears and chainguards mean no special outfits required. You don’t even have to roll up your pant leg. There’s a rack for your carrying needs and fenders for wet or messy roads. Some models feature lights that never need batteries. Breezer Town bikes are simple, intuitive, and easy to ride. Once you have one, you’ll wonder how you ever got along without it!
