PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS The PENTA set offers a unique, singular design that allows you to create an elegant and contemporary appearance. · Highly durable: We painstakingly select the granite aggregates used in our manufacturing process to ensure a high-quality product. The composition of the double surface layer is extremely resistant, with a minimum thickness of 4 mm and > 450Kg/m3. · Extremely resistant: The latest technology has sharpened our technical and productive capacity, enabling us to manufacture pieces that are highly resistant to flexion (Category U > 5MPa according to EN 1339:2003). · Uniform colour: Using granulated iron oxides ensures the most vivid colours and greater colouring power. What’s more, our colours don’t fade with the years, and our pigments are totally invulnerable to environmental wear. · Anti-slip: Extremely low slipperiness. The surface texture of the Standard and Top Complete® finishes can handle even the most unfavourable outdoor conditions. Pools (Rd > 45 USRV Class 3). · NET-CLEAN® surface protection: Dirt-resistant. Easier to clean. Permanent colour on a wet surface.

PLACEMENT A conveniently-levelled, H200 concrete base (18 to 20 cm thick) can be laid on the substrate of previously-compacted soil. Stones whose backsides have already been painted can be fixed on this base with a mixture of cement and water to improve adhesiveness. Pieces may be pressed into place atop a fixing mortar mixture with a minimum dosage of 380Kg/m3 (1/4). Fixing mortar mixture with dry consistency is not suitable. We recommend using soft-consistency mortar with an Abrams 4-6 cone. The entire stone should be held up by the mortar base in order to avoid

breakage when the stone bears weight. The joints should then be filled with a highly fluid, shrinkage-compensated, impermeable mortar cement base (a technical sheet is available). Immediately after sealing the joints, when the mortar is beginning to solidify, wash the stones with water under low pressure, being careful not to ruin the joints. Avoid allowing personnel through in the following days; do not allow construction support vehicles until three weeks have passed in order to allow the mortar sufficient time to harden. The stones should be arranged in such a way as to avoid the collection of standing water; the base should have a slope of 2-3%.
