IT’S SHOW TIME!
If you’re looking for a wedding planning event packed with fun, creativity, inspiration and interactive features, then make a date to attend Not Your Average Wedding Show. This unmissable event is being held on Sunday 24th October (10am-4pm) at Ashridge Great Barn in North Tawton in conjunction with Knots & Kisses Wedding Styling and guarantees to live up to its name with a host of features including a workshops tipi, styled room sets, entertainment and a top selection of exhibitors.
The workshops tipi will host a Dried Flower Crown session with florist Emma Hewlett, a Modern Calligraphy taster with Wild Sea Calligraphy, a Watercolour Flowers workshop with watercolour artist Harriet De Winton and a special Cocktail Masterclass with The Fizzy Pheasant, which includes a goody bag with ingredients and recipe cards.
Suppliers will be available to discuss details in the cosy lounge area, while the ‘Pamper Parlour’ will feature hair and make-up artists alongside a glitter bar for an indulgent interlude. There will be live music from The Pause and Sadie Horler alongside an eclectic mix of entertainers such as roaming magic from Dan Brazier and axe-throwing and archery from South West Adventures as well as glamping and festivalstyle outdoor catering. Discover ‘How To Get The Best From Your Wedding Photographer’ with a special talk in the tipi, and gain access to the fantastic virtual online platform in order to contact exhibitors and source extra content after the event.
Tickets are available as either ‘entry only’ for £7.50, and then you can book a workshop individually for £16 each or purchase an ‘Experience’ ticket for £40 which includes entry, two workshops and lunch!WORDS OF LOVE

There are also focal points in the form of neon letter lights, a bar cart and a reclaimed wood triangle archway and copper archway – a striking backdrop for vows or photographs. We’re especially smitten with the antique brass candelabras, reclaimed iron flowerpots and smoke grey recycled glass tumblers, all of which lend a captivating industrial look.
