The Solar energy
The sun makes solar energy. Solar is renewable so that means we are not destroying the world because the sun always rises up.

Thomas Edison tried to make electricity with animals and one of the animal was a elephant and he died because he was doing a dangerous experience.
Fossil fuels
There's renewable energy but there's also non renewable energy too. Fossil fuel is really bad because that means you are destroying the world. Some types of non renewable energy are like coal, oil, gas and even trees but the tree you could grow it back but still it would takes a lot of time.
Hydro energy
Hydro electricity is renewable because the water could be filled up by the rain. Also hydro electricity is water energy. When the water gets filled up and if the gate opens the water that got filled up goes down very fast. Then the water goes through the generator and the generator spins so fast then the water turns into electricity and that's called hydro electricity.
Wind energy Wind energy is a renewable because it uses the sun so it's kind of like solar energy and when the wind turbine goes around that makes energy.
Biomass energy Biomass is renewable because the sun grows the plants and when the plants grow up they cut it of and burn it then it makes electricity.
