Reasons for Exploration. Challenge

Some people Explore to challenge themselves and they want to be the first person to do something. For example Roald Amadsen wanted to be the first person to get to South Pole. He got to the south pole before any one else. Another example is Neil Armstrong. He wanted to be the first person to walk on the moon and he got to the moon before any one else. People still explore and challenge themselves.

Get Rich or Trade Some explorers explore to get rich or trade. For example Marco Polo traveled from Europe to China to trade. Another example is many people sailed from Europe to South America to find gold and get rich. People still explore for look after oil because they will trade it.

To Find Something Out Some people Explore to find something out. For Example some people want to find something out something new that no one never new before. For example Alexander Fleming discovered pencillin first. People discover new things to help people.

How has exploration changed over time? Why do people Explore? People Explore to challenge themselves and they want to be the first person to do something no one else never made before. People also want to find out new trade route to find new places they never been in before. They also want to challenge themselves to do something scare they never did before.

What did people take with them?

Marco Polo took: food, camels, water and clothes to travel with on this time it was not so many tool so he used animals and small boats to travel with. In the age of exploration people took boats people weapons food clothes an our and weather to travel with. For example Neil Armstrong went to the moon and he took special clothes.

How people Explored. Over time people have been in different places and different country's round the world. Long time ago it was not so many tools they travelled but they most travelled by: foot,animals and small ships or boats. For example Marco Polo travelled back on camels. More recently Neil Armstrong travelled to the moon in a rocket. Exploration have change tools on land and it change to air.


What are the consequence of Exploration? Consequence of cultures

Exploration has led to the subjection or decimation of cultures. History have documented the often bad effects of cultures contacts, such as the eventual effects of Exploration on the American Indians, to mention only the effects of European Exploration on the Americas. We will be change by Exploration, both as cultures and as individuals, and learning from history. The creation empires in discovered lands. New goods exchange between Europe and the new world. The native are forced into Christianity. Where we got the information from. We amassed all of this information on our Edco book timeline
