Circus Stars, 23 July — 4 September Children aged 4 – 12 are invited to take part in Circus Stars, this summer’s national Summer Reading Challenge (SRC) by registering at their local Brent library from 4 July. All children are encouraged to read six books of their choice for a chance to receive stickers and other prizes. Youngsters who successfully complete Circus Stars by reading six books will receive a medal and certificate in their local library. There will also be exciting weekly book review competitions with the chance to win a prize and attend the special Circus Stars celebration event in September. Be adventurous this summer; discover the exciting world of fearless acrobats, graceful animals, and silly clowns with great books and lots of fun activities in your local library. You can also visit the Circus Stars website: www.circus-stars.org.uk
For events with this symbol it is essential to book one week advance at the event venue. A list of library addresses and in telephone numbers is in this programme.
