Introduction There is something for everyone; so sign up today and have yourself a happy, healthy holiday! Sessions are open to children of all abilities unless specified. Activities include basketball, digital dance, horse riding, trampolining and much more. Olympic and Paralympic sports are identified by a torch symbol.

Special promotion Every parent that books 5 drop in sessions or a full week for each child they will receive a free sauna/steam session only within the Easter half term period. This promotion is only for sessions at Bridge Park Community Leisure Centre.

How to Book To book your place you first need to fill in a booking form. You can get a booking form in three ways: • download it from www.brent.gov.uk/holidayactivities (all of Brent’s libraries have free internet access) • pick one up from Bridge Park Community Leisure Centre • phone Sports Service on 020 8937 3707 and ask for one to be posted to you Once you have completed your booking form, send it with your payment (cheques made payable to London Borough of Brent and please ensure that the cheque guarantee number is written on the back of the cheque) to Bridge Park Community Leisure Centre, Brentfield, Harrow Road, London, NW10 0RG Or you can take your form along to Bridge Park Community Leisure Centre. NEW - you can also pay over the phone by calling Bridge Park Community Leisure Centre on 020 8937 3730. All major credit/ debit cards are accepted. Please make sure you have your card details ready to hand when you call. Please note; booking in person is NO LONGER possible at Brent House.

All necessary equipment is provided by the Sports Service You must wear suitable clothing and footwear for the activity – this includes a water proof jacket for any outdoor sessions No refreshments or food will be provided; so, bring your own non-fizzy drinks and packed lunch if required All courses must be pre booked and paid for (where appropriate) in advance. Parents and carers should inform the Sports Service if their child is unable to attend a booked session All sessions are led by experienced and qualified coaches and instructors and, unless stated otherwise, are open to boys and girls of all ages and abilities Please bring sun cream for outdoor sessions if the weather is hot Please refer to the website for the terms and conditions.

Easter Programme Descriptions Horse Riding First Timer These sessions are for those who haven’t attended our horse riding sessions before. Learn how to look after a horse/pony and see whether your team can win the riding games! Horse Riding Experienced These sessions are for those who have attended our horse riding sessions before. Develop your knowledge and riding skills further based on how often you’ve taken part in these sessions. Multi Sports A variety of sports such football, basketball, kwik cricket and lots of fun and games in the park. Tennis Come and learn the basics or improve your forehand, backhand and service skills and you’ll get to play lots of matches. Kayaking The course is an introduction to kayaking and will cover all the aspects of the British Canoe Union’s One Star award, plus some fun and games. (BCU 1 Star Certificate available at £5). Hip Hop Dance Do you get excited whenever the music is playing and feel like dancing inside? Then come and make it happen! Enjoy new and exciting Hip hop street dance, learning steps, routines, styles and combinations, listening to great tunes, rhythms and beats.

Basketball Calling all ballers! Come and test your skills at this camp which will teach you all the fundamentals of basketball including passing, dribbling and shooting. Roller Skating These classes teach balance, skating forward, skating backward, starting, stopping and turning, on quad or inline skates. Bridge Park Fun Full Day Programme Bridge Park Kids Fun Full Day Programme (8 – 13 years only) – A full day programme from (Monday to Friday (11-15 April) and Monday to Thursday (18 – 21 April) Filled with lots of fun and exciting activities such as T-Shirt Printing, Arts and Crafts, Movie time, Football, Indoor Athletics, Trampolining, Cheerleading and many more. Drop in sessions are available at £3.60 per session, drop in times are at 10am, 1pm and 4pm. Bouncy Castle Jump and fun with our Bridge Park Bouncy Castle. Digital Dance Test your dance and skills on the arcade dance mats. Indoor Athletics Get your child ready for the 2012 Olympics games challenge. Football Practice core skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting. Trampolining Reach new heights with our own trampolining sessions.


Sports Service Activities for Children and Young NRG Programme NRG – the alternative sports & physical activity programme for 7 to 17 year olds. The programme includes Archery, Street, hip hop, bollywood, contemporary and break dance, Roller skating, Party in the pool, Kayaking (advance booking only). Sessions take place every week (except school holidays and Bank Holidays) until July for different age groups so please visit the website for details before attending. Sessions are only £2.50!
